Want to learn some practical herbal practices to support your cycle, with all of the care and none of the BS gendered language? Join us for March's herbal workshop on Menstrual Cycle Support!

During our time together, we'll discuss a variety of herbs and nourishing self care practices to support PMS symptoms, painful & irregular periods, riding the big mood hormone rollercoaster and navigating bleeding during times of dysphoria. We'll be talking teas, tinctures, topicals, steam blends and more!

A fresh pot of Uterine Tonic Tea will be available for in-person participants to sip on throughout the class.

Please bring a notebook/journal, dress comfy is possible and feel free to ask ALL the questions, there's no such thing as TMI here!

*CCA works to normalize bodies doing body things without being gendered everyday of the year. It should not feel revolutionary to see a class discussing menstrual health and related pelvic organs/hormones outside of a binary framework, and yet - of the many many years I've been attending pelvic health trainings, I have yet to find one...so I filtered through years of continuing education, queered it all up and put together this intro workshop centering all my fellow trans, nonbinary and gender nonconforming people who deserve access to respectful and affirming care. We kindly ask that you do not assume anything about anyone's gender, anatomy or pronouns in attendance (and in life in general). Participants are encouraged to wear a name tag with pronouns :)

Thursday 3/28 from 6:30-8pm

Hosted by:

Reede Haroian LaRose (they/them) an autistic nonbinary trans clinical herbalist, parent and shopkeeper at Community Care Apothecary in Florence, MA. They weave over a decade of experience as a queer & trans centered full spectrum doula, pelvic health therapist and former somatic bodyworker into their herbal support practice. Reede is a big fan of integrative health care, meeting people where they're at and introducing safe, nourishing herbs that support the overall well being of folks in community. You'll often find Reede pining over their cats Ella + Anoush, smothering plant babies in the garden, nerding out neurodivergent style and talking about all things Armenian.

In-person accessibility: The entrance to the store is on street level and there are no steps involved. We have a teeny tiny bathroom that is not wheelchair accessible. Neurodiveregent friendly space, with no florescent lights. We kindly ask that you arrive fragrance free. An air purifier right by the tea table will be running throughout the class. Masks are appreciated in-store (we have extras for sharing if needed)
