In Practical Magic by author Alice Hoffman (the book series that the movie was based of off), the Owen family aunts are known far and wide for their magical black soap that gives the appearance of skin that looks ten years younger and balances complexion. It’s why “the aunts don’t age I tell you. They just don’t age.”
While Reede of CCA personally loves the experience of getting to see their face aging, the idea of recreating a rendition of this magical beauty bar has captured their intrigue for quite some time.
So after tinkering with a formula for some time, we are pleased to present our very own Black Soap: Magical Beauty Bar!
It has a goat’s milk base with activated charcoal, calendula infused oil, and essential oils of lavender, life everlasting, rose & lemongrass, topped with a sprinkle of dried botanicals from our garden…and it smells divine!
Made free of SLS, parabens, palm oil and synthetic fragrance.
Each bar is approximately 4oz, please allow for slightly variation as bars are hand cut and made in super small batches.
